You may notice that I say we a lot across my website and social media platforms, but just know that when I say we I mean we as in the brand, not the team behind the scenes. It’s a 1 woman show over here!




Auburn Aroma post Australia wide! We currently don’t offer international postage as we just aren’t quite big enough yet, however this is a service I am definitely working hard towards having available as an option in the near future.




Please allow 2-4 business days after you have received your order confirmation email for your order to be dispatched from our little studio in Modbury Heights, South Australia. It’s just a single set of hands pouring, making + packing your order, which can sometimes take a few days to get on top of.

After your order has been handed over to Australia Post please allow a few additional days for your order to reach you! Australia Post will often have delivery time estimates on their website. As a rough guide based off previous orders delivery can often range between 3-6 business days, often less for same state deliveries. Please also note that we only offer standard postage.

If you are a local and have selected pick up as your preferred delivery method please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be packed. Pick up orders will be notified via email or text when ready for collection.

Just like so many others, I am always striving to create a better planet and environment by supporting, creating and contributing to a sustainable lifestyle! Some days it’s easier said than done, but knowing that I’m doing my part in ensuring my business doesn't contribute to our environmental issues, as well as placing a huge focus on ways I can give back to and care for our environment is enough for me to keep pursuing this course of action. Here are a few ways Auburn Aroma stay sustainable and true to our beliefs:

- The use of eco-friendly packaging! From individual product packaging right down to the nitty gritty things like labels, our business cards and packing filler, we have ensured that all of our materials are either recyclable, biodegradable or water soluble.

- To always support fellow Australian businesses. All materials, branding components, equipment and supplies have all been sourced from businesses based and founded in Australia – businesses that also use sustainable methods and resources!

- Using 100% vegan and non-toxic ingredients to create our products! I always want the best for my amazing customers, and breathing in yucky and unknown synthetic chemicals is a big no-no from me. Natural ingredients are also much cleaner and healthier for our furry friends to be around!

- Repurposing materials! I’m a huge advocate for making an old product new again – giving it a new purpose so it doesn’t contribute to our excess landfill crisis. Besides, who doesn’t love a bit of a crafty moment!

- One Tree Planted! For every Classic Candle that is purchased, both on our online store and at local markets, you are helping make a difference by planting a new tree where they are needed the most. One Tree Planted is a non-profit environmental charity on a mission of global reforestation, planting trees in North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Pacific. $2 from every Classic Candle purchase will be donated to One Tree Planted, which will ultimately cover the costs required to plant a brand new tree. Auburn Aroma DO NOT accept exchanges, nor will store credit be distributed as a result of change of mind.





All of our products are hand poured in small batches, therefore no two will ever be identical in appearance.

Our candles all measure the same amount of wax weight, although they may each vary slightly in colour and frosting may occur in some areas. No additional or synthetic colouring is added to our products. The creamy, off-white colour of our candles and aroma melts is the natural colouring of our soy wax. Our liquid based products are essentially the same – the colour of each fragrance will vary dependent on the ingredients and notes per fragrance.

For example: Vanilla + citrus based fragrances will often appear darker in colour as their extracts are strong and pigmented, which is why scents like Simple and Breeze both have a deep golden glow in our Reed Diffusers and Room Mists.

What is frosting, you might ask? Frosting is when a cloudy white layer forms on the surface of natural waxes, such as soy. It sometimes looks like an air pocket or bubble has formed on the side of the jar. This is a natural effect of soy wax and only occurs throughout vegetable based waxes. Frosting takes place when the wax tries to return to its natural state during the change in temperature. Frosting does not affect the overall burn of the candle in any way!





Wonky Wonders are just as they seem! Products, candles and homewares that were made with lots of love, but didn’t set perfect or acquired some imperfections during the shipping process. Products at discounted prices that still function perfectly and deserve a loving home regardless of their flaws.

This collection is updated frequently with products that are always ready for adoption!

In the case of damaged or broken goods, Auburn Aroma offer store credit as a refund.

Store credit is ONLY permitted if your item(s) appear damaged or broken upon arrival, or if a mistake has been made on our behalf. If this is the case, please contact us at auburnaroma@gmail.com with photo evidence, your order number and a description within 48-hours of receiving your order so we can assess the damage and determine if store credit is to be distributed. Auburn Aroma are notified when orders arrive at their shipping address, therefore store credit will not be distributed if any evidence is received beyond the 48-hour time frame.

If store credit is to be distributed, the amount the customer paid for the damaged item at the time of placing the order will be processed into a unique code. This code will be sent to the customer via the email address they provided when placing the order. The code can be applied at checkout when the customer places their next order. Store credit codes are valid for up to 12-months after the issue date and can only be used once.

Auburn Aroma do not offer store credit for any of the following items:
- Candles that have been lit and/or burnt.
- Reed Diffusers that have been opened and used.
- Reed Diffusers that have been opened and used.

Store credit will only be granted if your product arrives broken/faulty and we are contacted within 48-hours.
